Once again, the North Sea is riding a wave of hope. Once again, we are heading towards brighter times, where grey and brown landscapes are transformed into light green. Join us on a hike in the changing landscape and experience the birdlife, flora and fauna at Filsø.
The North Sea cuisine is a long story about the changing landscapes through the ages, where the salty sea, the strong westerly winds and the vast expanses have brought food to the table with a very special flavour. For centuries, fish have hung out to dry in shoals. A flounder becomes a dried bakskuller and the flatfish ising becomes dabs. Look forward to Dabsens Day in Hvide sande in late spring. And then there's the legendary Herring Festival in Hvide Sande at the end of April.
An Easter holiday on the west coast can also offer experiences for the whole family. You can go to Bork Vikingehavn and hang out with the Vikings when they wake up again, because now it's time to get ready for spring. In the Tirpitz museum at Blåvand, great attractions are hidden under the sand. Here you can take a journey through time, starting with the mammoths. Afterwards, you can let it all sink in with a treat in the museum's café.
