On Thursday evening, the Sportsfisker Center will transform into a raw and truly unique concert venue, where the clear, Baroque lines of Bach meet the energy of contemporary jazz.

For the first time at the festival, Niklas Walentin will perform with his jazz quartet, freely improvising over Bach’s Solo Sonata No. 1 in G minor—and also making room for Danish classics like Jacob Gade’s Tango Jalousie.

You’ll be sitting on fishing crates, so bring a blanket and a pillow. Performers: Walentin (violin), Snorre Kirk (drums), Anders Fjeldsted (bass), Filip Ekestubbe (piano).
