With OMHU:, Katrine and Daniel have created a company based at the port of Hvide Sande that facilitates beach cleaning, upcycling of old ocean plastic, and raising awareness of the marine environment and sustainability in a broad sense.
If you look up the word care in the dictionary, it is defined as being careful and conscientious – and Katrine and Daniel’s shared passion is to be able to inspire and educate others to take care of nature and the sea.
The company speaks to the current focus on global goals, sustainability and the circular economy, and is committed to providing practical knowledge to school classes, vacationers, and people on the West Coast in general.
In the shop at the Auction Square you will find various items of marine plastic, clothes for the beach, as well as great espresso coffee at the bar.
