Santa arrives from the sea

At the North Sea, Santa naturally arrives by ship. When the festively decorated vessel approaches the quay in front of Café Marina with Santa and his cheerful little elves on board, children stand packed tightly along the quayside with wide eyes and eager anticipation. It's a magical sight that draws hundreds of families to the harbour every year.

From the harbour to cosiness in the old packing hall

After the Christmas ship's arrival, we walk together to the old packing hall (Undertøjshallen) at Rødspættevej 6, where the Christmas atmosphere unfolds in the authentic industrial surroundings. Here, over an hour of activities awaits:

• Dancing around the large Christmas tree
• Serving of rice pudding and warm juice
• Mulled wine and æbleskiver for sale
• Free candy bags for all children

Free admission – everyone is welcome

The event is free and open to all. Dress warmly, bring the whole family and experience how the sea, the harbour environment and the sense of community create that very special Christmas atmosphere that can only be found in Hvide Sande.
