Fantastic setting for angling at the lock in Hvide Sande
Immediately north of the drainage sluice you'll find Hvide Sande Sportsfisker Center, where anglers have access to a cleaning room, ice for freezing your catch, free hot smoking, as well as lounge and toilet facilities.
If you want to fish at the lock or around the harbor in Hvide Sande, it is mandatory to buy an HSSC fishing license. The fishing license gives you access to the floating bridges on the north side of the drainage lock and the facilities at Hvide Sande Sportsfisker Center.
At the work tables in the cleaning room, you can clean your catch under running water, after which you can pack it with fresh ice. If you want to smoke your fish, you are free to use the smoker. If you need a well-deserved break, you can find shelter in the large fisherman’s hall and, of course, use the excellent toilet facilities.
