It started as a woodworking workshop focused on reuse. Today it’s a combined studio, showroom and art lab, where the works are created from materials at hand—things that have already lived a life: remnants from the harbour, driftwood from the beach, and corroded surfaces shaped by sun, salt and the West Jutland wind.
Estrup’s works revolve around transformation . . . . around the fact that everything in this world is living on borrowed time, and that beauty often only truly reveals itself when things begin to wear out.
At Æ Tysk’havn 12, the door is open every Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 2 pm, and otherwise whenever the flag is out. Here you can experience the artistic process up close, see a selection of the different works, and maybe have a chat about how weathered metal and worn wood can tell stories worth preserving 🤍
Welcome in.
